The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America is one of the oldest and largest fraternal organizations in the country. Since its inception in 1868, the Order of Elks has grown to include nearly 1.2 million men and women in almost 2,200 communities.

The Connecticut Elks Association has proudly sponsored Safe Kids Connecticut since 1999. The organization is dedicated to the principles of charity, justice, patriotism and fraternity. The funds are raised through various charity events such as golf tournaments, benefit concerts and bowling tournaments.

Each year, members of the Connecticut Elks Association work with local Safe Kids coalitions to host safety events at schools, churches, Fire Departments, Police Departments and elsewhere.
